Our apologies, this house is VERY difficult to explain as to layout, since the original owner covered over a few doors and changed some spaces. But the basic structure is good, with many interesting features such as high beamed ceilings, an interior patio, pasta floors, skylights, and a little freestanding sink in the dining room as they had in older homes. The house has a garage area in the front for off-street parking, or convert it into a pleasant entryway with potted tropical plants. There are service quarters with a laundry area off the kitchen, and a small yard with some nicely-developed plants and a small tree in the back. This house, only 5 blocks from the popular Santiago square, is on a street that’s seen a lot of investment in the past year, so you’ll have a nicely mixed neighborhood of both native Yucatacans and non-Mexicans. Don’t wait until prices go up more in this area! |
