If you’re looking for a house that won’t need a lot of upkeep, this might be the one for you. Located only four blocks from Montejo on a street with little traffic, this house can offer you a taste of the traditional in the bakery just a few doors down, one of the few left that still puts a strip of a leaf in the baking loaves to cause the bread to split open allowing steam to escape. The house is two rooms wide downstairs; at present the front room on the right is closed off from the front room on the left, and is wired for air-conditioning. Upstairs, you’ll find two large bedrooms that share a jack and jill bath. The front bedroom has a walk-in closet and a door to the small front balcony. Going out the back door through the breakfast room, you’ll find another bedroom, with a large bathroom. Behind that are the old service quarters, with a basic bathroom. There’s plenty of constructed space to play around with, and with a bit of creativity, even space in the patio for a water feature. The flat roof above the back bedroom would make a great space to create a roof-top garden to take advantage of the cool breezes in the evenings. This property is located near the neighborhood of Santana. |
